John C. Chien

Hi All,
Some of you may remember John C. Chien - he was an active contributor in the early days of this forum (1999-2001 was the period I saw him active).
Does anyone know where he is now? I don't think we ever knew his true identity - but for me is evoked the spirit of this website in its early days - and I'd very much like to know if anyone knows who he was/is and where is works/lives.

I just happen to read about John passed away back in 2013, it is a true loss to the community. RIP.
