I have to rewrite an old code of vortex methods in F90 and I don't know if I can use object-oriented programming (abstract types, overloaded operators,...) or not: I mean, although object-oriented programming is easier to read and upgrade, isn't it less fast then normal programming, or doesn't it interfere with vectorization?
