Default total or static pressure?

Hi all! I am writing a 3D code for compressible turbulent unsteady flow in an internal combustion engine. At the moment I try to st up the correct boundary conditions. At the inflow will be pressure, but I have one question: should I set static or total pressure at the inflow. The mach number there is around 0.3. I would like the boundary condition to be very exact and not approximate, so any suggestions of: P(total)=P(static) would be avoided. Thank you for reading my problem
