*ANALYTICAL FLOW SOLUTIONS*

Hi, I was looking for answers to the followings: -level of idealisation assumptions made in the solutions; -the real motivation for the assumptions; -to what extend the 'analytical solutions' rely on experimental data/experimental data based correlations; -to what extend the solutions are purely analytical and if they actually did require the use of computers; -how analytical solutions could be used in the design process.

I am doing a research in advanced fluid mechanics and i would appreciate any help.
