Hello everyone,

i would be glad and thankful, if someone explains me how to define mach number when not using ideal gas. i would like to know how to define it under custom field functions. i am using FLUENT as a solver

Thanks in advance

Bharat

The Mach number (its square) is also a measure of the ratio between the kinetic energy v^2 and the specific enthalpy h, therefore you can use such definition by generalizing for non-ideal gas
