Help regarding implementing the Finite Volume method for meridional flows

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
The problem is related to 2D meridional flows, axi symmetric flow, in an impeller, in two regions, before the blade and then after the blade. The equations that have to be discretised are attached to this post, from the book Turbo Machinery analysis, R.H Lewis. The meridional section is divided into 5 layers, between phi=0 and phi=1. Input is in Cylindrical coordinates, with R and Z values for each layer, are given as the input.

The objective is to calculate and plot the axial and radial velocities, streamlines and iso streamlines, highlighting the blade effect over the meridional region.

This problem has already been solved using the Finite Difference method, using MATLAB. The values of R & Z were imported from excel files. The given points were extrapolated to begin with and on plotting the streamlines, it was found that some streamlines intersect. I hope to get better results and also resolve the cause for this.

I would like to solve this problem, using the OpenFOAM libraries and the Finite Volume method, but I am stuck at the moment. Please help with your suggestions and do not hesitate to ask me any details ~!
