Dynamica forces from turbulent kinetic energy?

I have the following problem:
I want to calculate dynamic forces on a square profile in a high speed duct flow (Re=10^7). Because I only have a steady inlet profile of the duct, I can not do transient calculation (also due to lack of computational power, the duct is a HRSG). Several sources uses the density*Turbulent kinetic energy as a way to represent the dynamic forces. However, this does not sound correct to me. Does any one ever thought of this problem? Or does someone knows a good solution for my problem? Thanks! |
