Natural convection with High Ra

I am simulating the natural convection in an enclosed cavity (H/W=4)with high Ra up to 10^12 and the time averaged Nu at hot wall for Ra<=10^10 are agree well with those by Le Quere et al in 1995. But I have not found the results for larger Ra now. Would you please tell me where I can find them.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Natural convection with High Ra

See Betts, P. L., and Bokhari, I. H., 2000, "Experiments on turbulent natural convection in an enclosed tall cavity", Int. J. Heat & Fluid Flow, 21, pp. 675-68. It seems to me that Ra based on the heghit is about 2e+10 there.

Alexey.

Dear Alexey,

Thanks a lot. For larger Ra?

flow through rectagular cavity

flow (generated by turbulent natural convection)through long rectagular cavity (length=1.5m, width=0.15m, cavity=0.002m )please help me to form nevier stroke equation and procedure to solve it by finite volume method
