# SIMPLER algorithm on unstrutured grid

 September 5, 2012, 06:08 SIMPLER algorithm on unstrutured grid #1 Senior Member     p ding Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 309 Rep Power: 10 Dear friends: I have implemented the SIMPLE algorithm on unstrutured grid. But when i implement the SIMPLER algorithm of algorithm.I met some problems about calculation of the source term of pressure equation. Since on the unstrutured grid, it is the face normal velcotiy contribute to the mass balance. How to compute the "Uhat" term for the face normal velocity. Could you pleaase suggest me some references or idears about this phenomena? Regards Your Sincerely

P. Cheng a , T. S. Lee a , H. T. Low a & W. Q. Tao b and also "role of underrelaxation in momentum interpolationfor calcualtion of flow with nonstaggered grids' by S. 7.3 calculation of pressure, Mr. Peric describes how SIMPLER is done in a pragraph. That is applicable to structured or unstructured meshes.
