Flow in a Pipe having protrusion inside it
plz help me regarding the flow & heat transfer modelling for a pipe having a protrusion inside it.
pipe is cylindrical and the protrusion is a cylindrical piece(sensor is mounted on the pipe).Assume the flow is laminar.which all terms can I neglect in the general Navier-Stokes equation for cylindrical coordinate.?
also plz give me the procedure for getting wall heat transfer coefficient once the flow is solved.
if not posssible to reduce the terms , plz suggest me best and easier FDM scheme for solving this 3-D flow model
