Information on 'vortex' interaction...

Hi all,

I am looking for information & links to 'vortex' interaction... Basically the rules of how vortices react when they meet each other.

I remember seeign an article a long time ago, but cannot remember where.

Thanks so much for your kind assistance.

Dear Diaw,

The monograph on Vortex dynamics, Cambridge Univ. Press could be of help. You could also check Annual Review of Fluid Mechanics.

Ganesh

There are two books which deal with vortices.

Fluid structure interaction and theory of vortex sound.

Both of prof. M.S howe.

Also as ganesh suggested look into cambridge press publications. They have a lot of books on vortices.

Rockwell has written a paper in annals of fluid mechanics with extensive bibliography on vortices.

Hi Diaw,

Look for that link you asked with this string "Virtex breakdown" , posted wrongly spelt. There is a book suggested directly related to the subject, but it was in chinese, maybe you may email Tian-fb and he may direct you to the main publishers of the book, which they may avail the book in english maybe, anyway try it.

best wish taw
