i am new to multiphase simulations. i am having problems in estimating k & e values for bubbly flows through pipes particularly at inlet and outlet. are there any theoretical or empirical correlations available?? if so plz give me the reference. hope tht somebody bails me out of this!!

This is a 1 000 000 $ question !! How big are your bubbles compared to the calculation grid size? What kind of multiphase model are you using ?

thanx for ur response. i am using eularian 2 fluid, and ASMM model for bubble column simulations. bubble diameter is 5 mm. the height of column is 1mtr with a dia of 19cm. the grid size i am using is 5 mm(radial)* 3.3mm(longitudinal). should i refine my grid size further??
