Modelling flow around a hemispherical

Hi

I would like to model the flow around a hemispherical using FLUENT. I would like to know can I model it as a 2d axisymmetric? Meaning I will model it as a semi-circle or quadrant in FLUENT.

If I model it as a 2d Planar, is it ok?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes

No, 2D planar case is applicable for cylinder case, not for spherical
