Hello all,

Good day. i am about to write a research proposal for my masters thesis. I want to do some CFD analysis as I have never worked in this field. My work included experiments in the field of engines. Now that i have chosen a topic where in I want to study the combustion parameters of diesel engine with few different fuel . Also i want to study the emissions at certain parameters which I have not yet fixed. I am in a dilemma for selecting the software. can fluent give a good combustion analysis or is CHEMKIN is optimum for this.

Can you guys help me in choosing the software? If chemkin is better how many days would it take to learn the software?

thanking you
