I'm now using the well known finite volume "Patankar code" (GAMSOR, USER, DENSE...) that solves steady/unsteady 2D heat transfer and fluid flow problems. I found it referenced as:
- Professor Suhas Patankar's course notes (ME 8353) of the University of Minnesota - Patankar, S. V., and Spalding, D. B., Heat and Mass Transfer in Boundary Layers, 2nd. ed., Intertext, London, 1970 But most of them doesn't reference it at all, even when the work is an explicit modification of the original code. My question is: where the hell the original code comes from? I took my version from professor who studied in Minessota decades ago. Can we still find the original version for download somewhere? |
