I am trying to analysis the aerodynamic performance of motor bike, and i want to include rotating wheels.
at the moment I have a model on only a rotating wheel, and moving ground. I am preforming a steady state analysis, using Realizable K epsilon solver with non equilibrium wall function. My simulation wont converge, convergence monitors show Cd Cl residuals and velocity at two points behind the wheel oscillating. The Cd appears to oscillate around a value which is approximately equal to published Cd values obtained from a wind tunnel. Do this lack of convergence mean I need to use transient method, or are there other solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated, |
