Flow regime behind the separation
I'm simulating a turbomachine and I observe that the flow separates at a specific point. However behind the separation I don't observe any reverse pressure gradient. And the vectors behind the separation seem undisturbed by the separation.
Do you have any ideas what is going on?
Are you sure there's separation where you highlighted? Could be simply secondary flow. Please check Prandtl's original definition for flow separation and don't get confused with secondary flow.
One more reliable way to check if there's separation is to examine the (near wall) streamline plot on the blade surfaces, i.e., something like the
second plot in this tecplot link.
