finite difference formulae for variable grid size
 

hi there....i am working on finite difference discretization of PDEs on Cartesian grid with irregular grid size (variable dx and dy). of all the reference that i have searched, only formulae for equal grid size are presented. i would really appreciate if someone could provide information on it. thanks in advance. yit fatt

You should be solving the equations using a coordinate transformation..if you don't understand what I mean by this see any good text on CFD.
