Calculation of projected areas

I am developing code in FORTRAN for Euler equation. Can anyone explain me the method of calculating the projected areas of the volume (six in number) using the vector product method. Thanks

define the diagonal vectors of each face and by their vector product in 2-D will give you the projected areas. Hope problem solved
