lid driven cavity
 
at which reynolds number the flow becomes turbulent in a lid driven cavity problem, can we consider this as pipe flow or flat plate flow.

If I remember correctly, there is a good article about this in WIKI - maybe it was just a link. Also, GHIA's paper is good for some numerical results and comparison data
