which kind of non-newtonian fluid is suitable for PIV

Hi guys.
I want simulate a kind of non-newtonian fluid via PIV. AFAIK, CMC is non-nowtonian. but it becomes a little opaque after it was stirred. so is there any non-newtonian fluid which can keep transparent all the time?
