any code for falling film simulation

Hi, I need a code for falling film simulation urgently, best in DNS simulation. Just to know the detailed information for velocity distribution. Thanks for everyone's help!!!

Re: any code for falling film simulation

Can't offer code (unless you can read my Acorn Archimedes floppy disks from c. 1989!), but I can remember finding that everything you might ever want to know about falling films was published by E.A. Duckler back in the 1950's.

E.g: Duckler E.A. and Bergelin O.P., Characteristics of flow in falling liquid films, Chem Engng. Prog â€"Vol 58 â€" 557, 1952.

All subsequent publications by others were derivativea of Ducklers when I was researching this.

Sorry I don't have copies of those papers. I dug them out of one of the libraries at Imperial College (Chem/Chem Eng?). All a long time ago. If you are a student, do look around your institution's libaries for Duckler's papers - they are good.
