Well, all the respectable journals with a thorough review process take at least 3-4 months, and usually with a revision acceptance (or rejection) takes longer. So I dont see any chances for a quick acceptance in a peer-reviewed journal.

What topic did you write about? Usually, if you have been working in your area of expertise for a while you should be familiar with the journals read by your community. Which journals do you usually read? That's where you should submit, but don't expect a quick review process.

If you just need a letter of acceptance and the reputation of the journal doesn't matter, look for non-reviewed journals, some conference proceedings are non-reviewed as well....

You should publish your article because it is good and deserves to be published not because you want to pad your CV or for whatever reason you need it published so quickly. All good journals have a thorough review process that takes time. Sometimes acceptance is fast but this can't be predicted. Depends on the reviewers too and how long they take to respond.

No disrespect to Indian or Pakistani people here, but I'm really getting spammed with invitations to an email adresse ripped from my homepage from editors in those countries (sounds more like begging, to be honest) to publish my research in some obscure "new" "all-encompassing" journal.... I would never consider publishing in some unknown and low-reputation journal, since my advisor taught me that these kind of publications can even make a bad impression and hinder your career.

So as Chris already pointed out: Don't publish just to publish, publish what and where it is worth it.

I am really sad to read such a deforming view of the reaserch world ...

"Publish or perish" is something that should force us to work on good researches not to work only on good writing ....

Me too. Usually multiple emails per day. It's sad really.
