how to deal with the contradiction between y plus and aspect ratio in wind turbine
 

when modeling a wind turbine, because the blade length can be as long as sixty meters and the Re can reach up to 1 to 6 millions, i feel it is really hard to deal with the contradiction between y plus and aspect ratio. It seems that the only way is to increase the spanwise grid number, but then the total grid number will increase dramatically. Does anyone has some ideas?
