Default Convective cell with phase change

Hello,

I am not a CFD expert, but have run into the following problem. Consider a very long vertical chamber with lower part of one wall being heated at very high temperature. The chamber is filled with the gas (air for instance) and the heat transfer between the narrowly spaced walls is mainly through radiation. If we inject some amount of the water from the bottom of the chamber, then it will first evaporates but will likely condense above the heated part of the wall. This may result in the convective chamber in which the water changes phases as it evaporates at the bottom and condenses at the top.

The main questions would be the temperature distribution in the chamber and the height at which the condensation would take place.

My question is whether such a problem can be solved. What tools would be up to the task and who is solving similar problems.

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Alexei
