I was doing a basic simulation of poiseuille flow in a pipe for a developing flow.
Reynolds No is given as 1000. Dia is given as 10cm. So I calculate the entrance length as 5m. The problem is after the simulation when I do a X-Y plot of centerline velocity, it stabilizes near 1m. Ps: All the other parameters were default. |
