Default Translation from obj into CFD accepted formats?

Hi all, this is the first time I post and actually see this forum. I have a little problem, I have a design I made in Alias Maya and want to import it into Fluent or any other good CFD software for analysis. How can I do the translation? So far the only way I found that looks like is going to work is to get the OBJ into 3D Exploration and translate it into STL. Is there any other ways? From Maya I can export in many other formats so maybe there is another one more suitable for the translation. Thank you very much... Leo
