Hello, i have a project about two dimensional heat transfer and fluid flow in keyhole plasma arc welding. I want to do it with fortran program.(heat source is fixed ). I have some questions.

1.I should just solve navier stokes and energy equations and for determining of interface add some terms to them?
2.I think i should solve navier stokes stably and energy equation unstably since at each time step we have a new domain that is liquid
with a new mass. Is it true?

Please answer me.
Thank you
