Hi,

i'm simulating a multiphase flow in air tight vessel with a crack. interested to see the difference in velocity patterns as compared to a intact (non-cracked) vessel. my inlet has a constant mass flow rate. but i do not know what to put as my outlet BC. i'm using CFX.

i'm currently using opening with static pressure of 0.

I've recently realized that non-reflecting BC (simple mirror image) at the outlet boundary works much better (I'm getting more realistic results) than any other (i.e. prescribed pressure, velocity or flow rate). But, what's fine for me, need not be for you as well. Just try it out.
