Dear all,

For water flowing through a long perforated pipe with a dead end, is it possible to simplify the model by using periodic conditions? I have two concerns: the transverse mass transfer through the perforated holes as well as the pipe dead end, which seem to violate the periodic assumption.

Your clarification/suggestion on the model setup is highly appreciated!

Best regards,

Richard
