Pressure boundary condition
So I was wondering about the pressure boundary condition implementation. I have a cartesian system with a curved boundary.
Should I use normal derivative when approximating the pressure at walls or should I use the gradient? Most textbooks seem to favor the normal derivative, but they do not explain why.
I use the method explained in Ferziger and Peric, 3rd ed. p.169. to create a poisson equation for pressure.
Any thoughts or comments?
Study pages 247-252 and 254-259. I had found them very useful in my study ;)
I think, actually, it's better to study Chapter 8 that deals with complex geometries.
