Default non-conformal mesh interface/ sliding mesh interface

Hello everyone,
i am attempting to simulate rotor and stator in a water jet duct. i am using star ccm v7.04. i am following the tutorial given in tutorial guide but unable to use the concepts to my problems. i am getting an error as'zero acceptor cells in region 1'. is there any problem with interface?
if anybody wish to share their expertise and help me i will very greatefull to him/her.
