convergence is referred to the solution: the discretization error (f_exact-f_numeric) goes to zero as the integration parameters go to zero.

consistency is referred to the whole discretization: the local truncation error goes to zero as the integration parameters go to zero.

The Lax theorem states that a stable and consistence (linear) scheme ensures convergences
