Intermittent Problems to Reach CFD Online?
 

One long-time CFD Online user has reported that he has had intermittent problems to reach cfd-online.com over the last week. Some days the whole site has been very slow or even impossible to reach, whereas other days it has been very fast and has loaded without any problems.

Has anyone else had a similar problem over the last week, or is this isolated only to this user?

I had similar problems a few times last week. I tried on two occasions but could not get through. A few hours later, all appeared ok.

There have also been a few occasions stretching back over the past 3 - 4 months that I can remember.

Thanks for the reports Ben and diaw. I was afraid that there were more than one user affected. The question now is only if you all had the same problem :)

In addition to this new problem we have also recently had a problem with a firewall which locked up under a new kind of denial of service attacks. This would block the entire site until we restarted the firewall. This should have been fixed now though after we upgraded the firewall.

If you email me please also let me know which IP number you have (you can check it at http://www.whatismyip.com).

I'll try to trace what might be causing this. It is difficult to trace things when you can't reproduce it yourself :-/

i got this problem from two differnt isps now it is resolved
