Default Unstable stratification
Posts: n/a
Hi friends:

It is well-known that the turbulence kinetic energy tends to be augmented (Gb>0; where Gb is source term due to buoyancy)in unstable stratification and vice-versa. So my question is what is stable and unstable stratification.

Thank you.
