Hi all

I am trying to find a good CFD turbomachinery thesis topic for my master´s degree.

I am looking for good research topics in the "unsolved problem" category in turbomachinery. This is a field I would like to enter into post-graduation so I am trying to get one foot in while pursuing my degree.

Do any of you know of a good literature that summarizes unsolved problems in turbomachinery that could be modeled with CFD.

Some ideas:

"Accurate shock locations in compressor cascades"

"Flow field between turbine blades"

"Flow past a 3D blade with heating where cooling techniques (film + convective) are taken into consideration"
