archeoptyrx is on a distinguished road
Hello Everyone ,

I wrote code to solve complete Navier stokes equation in Matlab for supersonic flow over flat plate .

My doubt is Whether the Complete NS Equations predict the flow properties for hypersonic flows too ? .

If so why do they have Viscous Shock Layer equations and Paralolized Navier Stokes Equations ?

Also i wanted to know how to numerically discretize the Viscous shock layer equations for modelling Hypersonic flows in matlab .

It would be of great help if someone share their knowledge

Thanks
