Solve Fluid mechanics problem with Matlab

Hi, I am studying Mechanical Engineering, and I have to solve a lot of Fluid Mechanichal problems with MAtlab. Please can you help me to find the answers.
Sorry for my English. THE PROBLEM: . It uses a pump (curves Table S3) to raise water from a reservoir to open tanks with three levels to levels [z2, z3, z4] = [40, 45, 48] m. The standpipe contains a manual valve (MV) at the output of the pump and the point C divides into three branches, one to each tank. The pump is at the level zB = 6 m above the surface of the reservoir (z = 0). The suction pipe is at its end submerged a foot valve with a pressure loss coefficient = 12 ξVP unique and does not consider any other loss in single installation. The lengths of the tubes are [LA, L1, L2, L3, L4] = [20, 100, 100, 120, 150] m diameters [DA D1, D2, D3, D4] = [0.1 0.05 , 0:06, 0:07, 0:08] m, and the absolute roughness [kA, k1, k2, k3, k4] = [0.1, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4] mm. Taking a positive way flows indicated in the figure, admitting that the pressure loss coefficient of the unique manual valve depends on the angle φ closing the words ξVM = 100 / (90-φ) determines: First. The flows that circulate each tube depending on the angle closure VM. Two. The height of the water table fork C depending on the angle closure VM. |
