Hi. Does anyone know if Kozeny-Carman equation is used only to spherical particles? Thanks, Juliana

Some people have applied the Kozeny-Carman equation to fibrous networks. However, it is not a universally good approximation as it is difficult to identify a unique equivalent hydraulic radius. You may want to check the reviews in the engineering category, e.g., Astrom B.T. et al, Journal of Composite Materials, vol.26, p1350, 1992; Skartsis L. et al., Polymer Engineering and Science, vol.32, p221, 1992. Hope this helps.
