hello,

I am trying to match a flat mesh another one wich is curved, so the verticies don'y match.

could you tell me the easiest way to achive this purpous. Or where can I find the instructions which would help me.

If one of the meshes is regular, the second mesh can be joined to it using an eliptical generation technique. In the eliptical generation, you specify the locations of the vertices of the curved mesh that are adjacent to the vertices of the regular mesh.

Let's say that the regular mesh is to the left of the curved mesh. Then, the right edge of the regular mesh becomes the left boundary of the curved, eliptically-generated mesh. The other boundaries enclosing the eliptic mesh must also be specified. The locations of the interior points are smoothly distributed between the boundaries by solving an eliptic equation over them, usually using a relaxation technique.
