QUICK scheme Interest ?
 

Hi it looks there is too much interest in quick here, just I want to exploit the opportunuty,

Can anyone explain me why quick is dispersive not disspative sceme, I have the feeling uw scemes were dissipative, at least 2nd order uw, or quick being 3rd order is the case making it dispersive. but how??

Is it the case on very fine grid this dispersion effect disappears. how do i detect this effcet in my simulation?

Can anyone list me any very highly regarded advective solvers with their application area, other than quick and its derivatives (quickest, sharp, smart, etc) regards taw

QUICK is a good scheme, if it's used in tvd algorithm for uncompressible fluids. I think i can find some, including my own. I'll mail you later.
