 June 3, 2013, 11:16 Data for AGARD-R-702 #1 New Member   Chris Join Date: Jun 2011 Posts: 12 Rep Power: 6 Hi, I want to reproduce the data from a AGARD-R-702 wind tunnel test around a NACA 64A010 airfoil with a static angle of attack of 4°. Having a look at the given data I'm having problems to reproduce the exact test conditions, especially the total temperature. I'm using the data from table 2.17 which is: M_inf = 0.789 p_inf = 134741 Pa p_tot = 203169 Pa Re = 12E6 Using Sutherlands Law for the viscosity of air I have three equations with three unknown (temperature, velocity and viscosity). Solving this equations I get the following results: T_total = 329.27 K U_inf = 270.63 m/s mu_inf = 18E-6 Pa/s Apart from being pretty high this temperature contradict the statement in the data table where the range of the tunnel temperature is given as 290K - 320 K. Anybody sees what the problem is? Thanks in advance. caramelo
