Re: Career in CFD?

hey man r u talking abt that MS in CFD fm IIIT,pune(1 yr in pune and 1 year in Rus)? man For CFD, ther is a bright future. Todays scenario is that ppl r trying to couple CFD with other things like Plasma discipline,Acoustics etc..So ther is a lot of opportunitites.. Since u r an undergraduate in CFD u can better uderstand the importance of codes in solving complex flows...

Thanks

I think it depends. I'm Dr. Sc. in russia and can't find enough money being a CFD-fellow, so i now i have to work as a manager.

Re: Career in CFD?

I had an opportunity to leave for US or Swiss, but i didn't want to... not now, may be later. You know, it's hard to be a research-mathematician in russia. I am paid approx. 300$/month and i can't live on that in Moscow.
