In Versteeg's book(second edition) page 194. equation 6.12 and 6.13.

Why its u*_n rather than u** _n

I think why there is only one * in the 6-12 6.13 is because if it was the final solution. u* and u** would be almost the same. So we need to solve it until convegence.

If there were two ** in 6 12 6 13, it would become SIMPLE.
