Re: Book on stability analysis

Is there anything better than

"Numerical computation of internal and external flows" C.S. Hirsch:Vol1 and Vol 2

Or

"Compuational methods in fluid dynamics" Tylor

hope this works

Re: Book on stability analysis

when i took cfd here at penn state we used a book written by a professor here. i can't recall the name or the author but if you contact the instrutor of the course, Vigor Yang (vigor@psu.edu) he could tell you. i recommend the text because it used a very systematic and rational aaproach to stability analysis. as a result you learn to do the analyses quickly and somewhat painlessly. i guess Hirsh is good because it is always on loan at the library here.
