Hello,

I have 2D boat CFD analysis results on x-y plane (looking from the top) and on x-z plane (looking from the side). I am trying to convert my 2D analysis results to 3D and I want to compare my data with the experimental results that I already have.

The boats shape is very complex (it is a wigley hull) and I cannot find a correlation between 2D analysis results and 3D real world experimental data. I was wondering if the methods to convert 2D airfoil (infinite wing) results to 3D wing (finite wing) data will work in this case or not.

Can you please help me?

Thanks,
