August 31, 2006, 11:50 Re: airfoil boundary conditions #3 Bounecer Guest   Posts: n/a thanks Mar; Do you have more details about periodicity in the cut; do you mean that: u(1,j)=u(imax,j) and v(1,j)=v(imax,j) for j=1 to jmax

September 1, 2006, 06:15 Re: airfoil boundary conditions #4 mar Guest   Posts: n/a yes if your cut is along j, as usual. The condition must be applied for all the variables also termodinamic (pressure, energy..)

September 1, 2006, 09:06 Re: airfoil boundary conditions #5 Bounecer Guest   Posts: n/a I'm in the case of 2D, incompressible viscous flow attempting to find the position of separation on the airfoil for a given Reynolds number (5x10e3). I'm using finite volumes method to discretize the mathematical model in computational domain. So please what may i set for the coefficients of discretized algebraic equation: Ap.(PHI)p=Ae.(PHI)e+Aw.(PHI)w+An.(PHI)n+As.(PHI)s+ S for boundary conditions?
