Hi all

I work with lattice Boltzmann methods, but have been only using the single relaxation time BGK approximation for my collision operator. As a result, I am stuck with Prandtl no of 0.5. Now, I would like to simulate flows with very large Prandtl number, like oils, which have a Pr=1000, and also liquid metals which have a Pr of 6.2.

I use viscosity to calculate the relaxation time for flow field and for thermal use thermal diffusivity , so when the prandtl number is high,the solution converge and unstable !! because one of the relaxaion time get too close to 0.5!!

Is there a suitable LB scheme which allows me to do so in a simple way?
