gas Inlet velocity
Hi all,
In a gas/liquid problem, there are 4 gas inlets and 1 liquid inlet. I only know the total flow rate of gas inflow. My question is: should I define the (gas flow rate/total cross area of gas inlets) as the inlet velocity, or should I also need to consider the volume fraction of gas(considering that gas mixes with water immediately following gas inelts)? In aother word, I am confused with the concepts of superficial velocity and real velocity related to boundary condition determination. Thanks, Matt |
