Question about meshers

Hi all, I´m wondering wich is better for structured grids, Gambit or Gridgen? Wich require less work? and what about the learning curve?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about meshers

Personally, I would rather have either CFD-Geom or Icem-CFD Hexa for that. Not that I ever spent the time on Gridgen, so wouldn't comment on where that fits in.

Re: Question about meshers

For complex geometries Gridgen is better, but it still requires a lot of work. I would use either ICEM-CFD or ANSA.

Re: Question about meshers

The software called cfdesign uses its own automatic mesh generator , not giving much troubles to the user. It uses tetrahedral mesh and prisms at wall elements.
